Participants are routinely admitted to top colleges and universities throughout the country. Following their experience, nine out of 10 participants say they were “better prepared” and “more confident” when applying to college. Impact is measured by the students’ personal growth, academic success and enrollment in higher education. Through mentorship from Scripps College faculty and staff, participants develop the confidence and skills to be well-prepared college applicants, successful college students and professionals who create positive, lasting change.
Over 90% of participants will be the first in their families to attend college. The Scripps College Academy is a year-round college readiness program for high-achieving young women from the greater Los Angeles area.
